Halifax Hornets had a solid first half, limiting Moncton to 20 points and the went on to down the Mystics, 86-56 in the second Maritime Women’s Basketball Association game of Sunday.

Arianna Macias sparked a balanced Halifax attack with 16 points. Chantel Smith had 15 and Lucina Beaumont scored 10.
Kelsey McLaughlin tossed 18 for Moncton. Jenna Jones added 16.
