The St. Thomas University Tommies were champions of the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association this past season.
Paige LeBlanc was one of the key St. Thomas components in that memorable season.
LeBlanc is now a member of the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association.
‘I’ve known Paige a long time and coached her when she was growing up, so there is a sense of familiarity as she joins our organization,’ said Freeze head coach and general manager, Bram Russell. ‘She shows up and puts the work in. A very effective shooter, she can change the momentum of a game when she knocks down big shots.’
LeBlanc was the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association leader in three-point efficiency during the 2025-26 season with the Tommies.
Her 41.1 per cent success mark from the arc topped the league. LeBlanc was third overall in three balls, going 30-for-73.
She was also solid from the charity stripe, third in the league at 73.7 per cent.
LeBlanc averaged 11.9 points per game and played just under 25 minutes an outing.
