Kate Fillmore is returning for another season with the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association’s Moncton Mystics.
Fillmore is coming off her second season with the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association’s Mount Allison University Mystics and gets to play for her hometown team once again this season.
‘I’m really excited for this season, both to keep developing my game and to compete in front of such an incredible and supportive community,’ said Fillmore. ‘Being back with the Mystics means a lot to me. It’s more than just a team, it’s a family. I love how it brings people together and creates such a strong energy around the game. I’m looking forward to building on last season and being part of something special again.’
Fillmore averaged 10 points per game for Moncton last season, entering the MWBA as a rookie.
