The Halifax Hornets collected an 80-54 victory over visiting Lake City 56ers of Dartmouth/Cole Harbour/Preston on Sunday afternoon at Mount St. Vincent University.
The game was the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association’s PRO•LINE Featured Game of the Week.
Halifax moved its record to 5-1 with the victory. Lake City fell to 3-4.
Lucina Beaumont powered the Hornets with a game high 17 points. Lily Francois scored 16 and Sasha Dabb added 11.
Lillian Fuller’s 13 points topped Lake City’s shooters. Evie Hargraves and Abby Mercer both counted seven.
