It was a New Brunswick sweep for Halifax Thunder.
Thunder rolled into Miramichi on Sunday afternoon and earned a 101-61 triumph over the hometown HerIcanes at Miramichi Valley High School.
Halifax improved to 6-0 on the season. Miramichi fell to 2-6.
Maddy White sparked Halifax with a 20-point effort to lead all scorers. She had plenty of support including 15 from Haley McDonald, 11 from Elizabeth Beals-Iseyemi and 10 from Sandy Saunders.
Kassidy Hamilton paced Miramichi with a dozen points, all of them on three-pointers in the first half. Charlee Connors had 11, Eden Searles 10 and Lexi MacInnis scored eight.
Thunder held a 47-39 halftime lead.
