Every player in the lineup hit the scoresheet and the visiting Halifax Thunder cruised to a 74-38 win over Halifax Hornets in Maritime Women’s Basketball Association play Wednesday night.
The game was played at Mount St. Vincent University.
Thunder improved to 2-2 with the win. Hornets fell to 1-3.
The balanced Thunder offence was paced by Sami Russell and her 13 points. Alaina McMillan counted 11 and Kiera Duffie scored 11.
Chloe Oxner’s eight topped the Hornets’ offence. Jamia Thomas had five.
