They have been there since the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association launched.
And the commitment to the MWBA continues.
Fredericton-based TRL Solutions announced it will return as a key digital advertising and communications partner with the eight-team league.
A key part of that renewed commitment will be unveiling a new website and much more leading into the 2027 season.
‘When the MWBA was in its infancy and preparing to launch back in 2022, we took an immediate interest in what the league was all about,’ said TRL Solutions co-owner and digital marketing director, Jody Peterson. ‘The league represents the dynamic of women in a competitive sport, but it also embraces a community and family relationship. We have watched the league evolve and are pleased to remain involved from our end.’
TRL Solutions has partnered with the league website since 2022 and is in the process of fine-tuning a modern and sleek design for the league’s sixth season.
It will also promote the league through a digital advertising campaign, beginning in the latter part of the winter.
‘We have an outstanding relationship with Jody and his TRL Solutions crew and we were incredibly happy when the company stepped up once again,’ said MWBA director of partnerships and programming, Anna Lee LeBlanc of Moncton. ‘Our conversations generate positivity and they are very easy to work with. TRL has a tremendous amount of interest in community minded amateur sports and we’re fortunate to have forged a relationship.’
The league is anticipating opening Season VI on Sunday, April 25.
The MWBA returns reigning champion Halifax Thunder, Truro Tidal Queens, Halifax Hornets and Lake City 56ers of Dartmouth/Cole Harbour/Preston in the Good Robot Brewing Nova Scotia Division.
The Good Robot Brewing New Brunswick Division has Moncton Mystics, Port City Fog of Saint John, Fredericton Freeze and Miramichi HerIcanes.
