Fredericton Freeze clinched top New Brunswick seed and the automatic semifinal bye that comes with it.
Freeze, playing at home, downed Moncton Mystics, 75-65 in a back-and-forth outing on Sunday.
It all means the playoff scenario has been completed for the Legacy Cup this weekend in Halifax from Friday through Sunday.
Halifax Thunder and Freeze receive byes as top teams in their respective provinces.
Quarter-final Friday will see the Mystics face Halifax Hornets and Port City Fog of Saint John meets Windsor Edge.
Thunder will face lowest remaining seed out of the quarter-final matchups and Fredericton will get the highest seed remaining.
At Fredericton, Grace Simpson powered the Freeze with 17 points including a dominant fourth quarter where she had a dozen points. Nicole Esson popped 14, Leah Bowers had 12 and Bailey Black offered 11. Robbi Daley sunk 10.
Kelsey McLaughlin was a workhorse for Moncton and scored a season-high 20 points. Abby Miller drained 14 and Jenna Jones had 12.
