Three Games Hit Nova Scotia

If you’re a fan of the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association – and we know there are plenty of you out there – you have some choices to make.

As in which venue do you attend to watch which matchup.

Take your pick.

Two teams are in a race for top spot in the seven-team circuit and both are in action today.

Lake City 56ers sit 4-1 for a share of first place with Halifax Thunder (4-0).

The 56ers open things at 2 p.m., remaining home to face Fredericton Freeze (3-1) at Cole Harbour High School.

There are also a pair of 3 p.m. starts in the Nova Scotia Capital.

Thunder welcomes Moncton Mystics (1-2) at Saint Mary’s University while at the same time, Port City Fog of Saint John (1-2) visit Halifax Hornets at Mount St. Vincent University.
