It’s a cross-bridge clash tonight.
And the winner will fill the final spot in this weekend’s Pro*Line Stadium Legacy Cup championship, joining three other teams who qualified earlier in the week.
What a Maritime Women’s Basketball Association battle this is going to be.
Lake City 56ers of Dartmouth/Cole Harbour will welcome Halifax Hornets to the Zatzman Sportsplex Gymnasium.
Game time is 7 p.m.

At stake is filling out the final spot to join regular season champion Halifax Thunder, Fredericton Freeze and Port City Fog of Saint John in the Final Quartet, sponsored by Pro*Line Stadium.
Lake City won both head-to-head meetings against the Hornets this season, but we all know playoff adages do not include what happened in the past.
The 56ers started out hot, but ran into some road bumps down the stretch, losing three straight games to finish the season. Halifax finished 1-9 during the regular season and lost a Nova Scotia playoff qualifying game on Tuesday to Thunder.
Not only does tonight’s game tell us who will be in the Final Quartet, but it will also determine matchups.
We know one thing for sure. As regular season champions, Thunder had the luxury of choosing its semifinal game at Dalhousie University. It chose the 5:30 p.m. time slot.
If Lake City prevails Thursday, it would play Fredericton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Should the Hornets produce an upset, they would play Thunder at 5:30 p.m. and the Freeze and Port City would battle in the second game.
It all leads to Sunday’s 2:30 p.m. final.
The third place game is set for 12:30 p.m.
