The Maritime Women’s Basketball Association kicked off Season IV on Saturday with a single game, setting the stage for three outings Sunday.
Lake City 56ers continue their New Brunswick opening weekend roadswing, visiting Miramichi Her-Icanes at 2 p.m. at Miramichi Valley High School.
The 56ers opened with a win over Moncton on Saturday night, downing the hometown Mystics, 95-72.
The action opens at 1 p.m. when Fredericton Freeze host Port City Fog of Saint John at the Lady Beaverbrook Gymnasium.
One other game unfolds in the Nova Scotia capital when Halifax Thunder welcomes Halifax Hornets to Saint Mary’s University.
