The Port City Fog of Saint John has had some remarkable talent over four seasons in the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association.
One of its best remains the leading scorer in Fog franchise history, despite not playing this past season.
Former professional and NCAA stalwart, Kaylee Kilpatrick, remains atop the Port City scoring leaderboard, amassing 39 points over 29 games. Kilpatrick moved to New Zealand last summer where she is teaching.
She played for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats and played professionally in Ireland, Australia and Germany before returning home and suiting up with the Fog for three seasons.
Kilpatrick was the MWBA MVP in 2023.
Former Toronto Metropolitan University Bold USPORTS champion Rachel Farwell sits second on the Fog list with 266 points. Farwell, who is an assistant coach with Basketball New Brunswick under-17 girls’ team off to this year’s Canada Summer Games, actually holds the Fog record for points per game. She averaged 14.7 points, slightly above Kilpatrick’s 13.6 mark.
Courtney Thompson spent three seasons with the Fog and is third all-time with 239 points. Thompson actually eclipsed the 300-point plateau in 2025 as a member of the Fredericton Freeze.
Reese Baxendale is fourth with 193 points and Amelia Mitchell moved into fifth spot this season with 192 points. Mitchell is off to play for Memorial University Seahawks in Atlantic University Sport play after four seasons with Mount Allison University Mounties of the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association.
Erin Ingalls is nestled into sixth spot with 141 career points and McKinley Bezanson is next with 134.
Mitchell, Ingalls and Bezanson all played for Port City in 2025.
MacKenzee Ryan is seventh with 105 points followed by Grace Tilley’s 86 and Bailey Henderson’s 83.
Henderson has spent the past two seasons with her hometown Miramichi Her-Icanes.
