Consistency and a threat at both ends is what Kaylee Kilpatrick brings to the Port City Fog of Saint John’s table.

She also brings a scoring title.

The former University of New Hampshire Wildcat and veteran professional earned the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association’s scoring championship following the conclusion of regular season play Sunday.

Kilpatrick’s Fog lost that final game of the season, a 78-65 setback to the Moncton Mystics, but the post scored 16 in the loss and garnered the scoring title, averaging 18.3 points per game.

Last year’s scoring champion Karissa Kajorinne of the Halifax Thunder finished second at 17.1 points per game.

Allie McCarthy of the Fredericton Freeze was third at 17.0 and her teammate Kylee Speedy, who set a franchise record with 29 points on Saturday, finished fourth at 16.6.

Leonie Elbert of the Mystics was fifth at 15.1 and Fredericton’s Katie Butts sixth with a 14.5 mark.

Moncton’s Lia St. Pierre (14.1) was seventh and then three members of the Halifax Hornets rounded out the top 10.

Hannah Brown (13.5), Courtney Donaldson (13.4) and Jasmine Parent (12.7) were the Halifax troika.
