The Maritime Women’s Basketball Association is eyeing its 2025 schedule.
The MWBA finished its third season of competition in June, capping a remarkable campaign of parity throughout the seven team league, ending when the Halifax Thunder won its second straight Pro*Line Stadium Legacy Cup title in the Nova Scotia capital.
There is hope of expansion for 2025, but the league is preparing at least three different schedules for teams in preparation for next season.
The league is also seeking to replace vice commissioner Anna Lee LeBlanc and treasurer Jeff White during the off-season.
The MWBA will also be seeking a new social media director to replace LeBlanc, who handled both duties last year.
