The Atlantic University Sport women’s basketball conference is shaping up for what should be an exciting second semester.

First, however, the teams have to get through the final portion of the 2025 calendar and that starts Wednesday night in the crowded conference.

Dalhousie University Tigers will welcome Saint Mary’s University Huskies in an all-Halifax clash at the DalPlex on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

One game Friday has University of Prince Edward Panthers at home in Charlottetown to Memorial University Seahawks of Newfoundland at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, there are three games to bring the curtain down on the first portion of the season.

One game at 2 p.m., has Memorial clashing with UPEI again while a pair of 6 p.m. games feature University of New Brunswick Reds hosting Acadia University Axewomen and St. Francis Xavier University X-Women travelling to Sydney, NS, to meet Cape Breton University Capers.

The marquee matchup unfolds in Fredericton with the 9-1 and nationally-ranked Reds host Acadia, sitting 7-3 and sole possession of second spot in the AUS.

UPEI and St. FX share third at 6-3. Memorial is 3-5, Huskies are 3-6, Dalhousie is 2-8 and Cape Breton has one win in nine outings.
