The Halifax Hornets and Moncton Mystics will tangle in this morning’s 11:30 a.m., consolation game.

Thunder earned its ticket to the final with a semifinal Saturday win over the Hornets, downing its Nova Scotia city rival, 84-56.

Fredericton enters the final for the first time in team history on the heels of an 82-56 win over Moncton Mystics.

Thunder and the Freeze met once this season with Fredericton winning an absolute thriller, 80-77, back on June 6 in Halifax.

Tickets are available at the RJCC box office.
