It is officially the off-season for the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association.
That doesn’t mean crickets are filling the air.
The MWBA will host its annual general meeting in the early fall to discuss 2023 and what is ahead for the league in 2024.
That meeting will allow the league to update any constitutional changes, discuss rosters, schedules and playing rules for the following season.
Yes, expansion will be discussed, but the MWBA continues to take a cautious approach although a committee does exist which is accepting applications by emailing mwba.league@gmail.com
